With the addition of Acrobatics & Tumbling as a varsity sport, Fairmont State now features a spirit team for entertainment at Fighting Falcon athletic contests. These groups, which were previously not available at FSU, will represent Fairmont State at athletic events, pep rallies, school functions, parades, and other community events.

Spirit Team & Coach Courtney Reymond

Courtney Reymond is in her first season as the coach of Fairmont State’s spirit cheerleading squad. Reymond was a graduate of Fairmont State with a degree in Education. She is currently a teacher in Harrison County. In addition to cheering and competing at all levels, she has also coached tumbling for eight years. She was a member of the 2010 national championship competitive cheer team at Fairmont State.

The Fairmont State University spirit team is an energetic, exciting group that cheers on the Fairmont State football, mens basketball, and women basketball teams at all home events.
