FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- Fairmont State wrapped up the 2011 season with a 19th place finish at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals at Slippery Rock.
The Falcons were led by Scott Treadway in 74th place with a 10k time of 35:16. He was followed by Jobey Knapton in 111th (37:04), Jacob Lafferre in 115th (37:19), Austin McFee in 134th (38:24), Logan Moore in 153rd (41:17) and Kenny Burnley in 161st (42:54).
Fairmont State totaled 587 points to take 19th place in the region. Edinboro won the meet with 71 points, followed by Lock Haven (76) and Shippensburg (108). Those three teams now advance to the national meet. Individual qualifiers were Dustin Hall (Wheeling Jesuit) and Aaron Dinzeo (California, Pa.)
