2003 FSC Camp Schedule nearing close
Fairmont State College's Athletic Department has announced its summer athletics camp schedule for 2003.  Choose from the list of links below to go directly to the camp offering of your choice.

  • Boys and girls ages 8-12
  • Cost- $40.00
  • Boys Camp - July 7-17
    (Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 12 noon)
  • Girls Camp - July 14-24
    (Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 12 noon)
 Falcon Camp will be held on the Fairmont State campus.

To register, call 367-4220 to request a Falcon Camp application
(No phone reservations accepted).

Make all checks payable to Fairmont State College.

  • May 20-22 and May 26-28
  • 7 p.m.-9 p.m.
  • Cost - $65.00
  • Free to Gear-Up students.
  • Boys and girls, ages 8-18
 The camp is open to boys and girls ages 8-18 and are not high school graduates.

The camp is located at the Feaster Center Pool on the campus of Fairmont State.

Campers must provide their own medical insurance.

There will be a $20.00 cancellation fee.

Registration must be made by May 13, 2003.

Campers need to bring swim suits, caps (if needed) goggles, 2 towels.

Camp staff to know in writing if your child has any allergies, illnesses, or impairments are present.

Any violation of camp rules or unsafe behavior will result in dismissal from camp with no refund given.

SUMMER LEARN-TO-SWIM PROGRAM

  • Boys and girls Ages 2 and up
  • Cost- $50.00
  • June 2-12 (Monday through Thursday Evenings)
  • 4:30 p.m.- 5:00 p.m. - Ages 2-4
  • 5:15 p.m.- 5:45 p.m. - Ages 5 and up
  • 6 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. - Ages 5 and up
 The Learn-to-Swim program is located in the Feaster Center Pool on the campus of Fairmont State.

Register in advance, as class sizes are limited.

Cost is $50.00, payment due with registration.

  • Boys - Grades 4-11
  • Cost - $90.00 (includes meals and a camp T-shirt)
  • 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
This camp is for boys who will be entering the fourth through eleventh grades in the fall.

The camp is located on the Fairmont State campus in the Joe Retton Arena.

Campers must provide their own medical insurance. The camp will have a trainer present at all times.

There will be a $25.00 cancellation fee to account for handling, time, etc. All cancellations must be in writing not made by telephone. Cancellations must be made before May 31.

Campers need to bring their own shoes, socks, shorts, and T-shirt.

All Gear-Up students must register by the the deadline in order for Gear-Up to pay for their camp, otherwise you will be responsible for payment.

Any violations of camp regulations will result in dismissal from the camp and no refunds will be granted.

Registration will be at 9 a.m. on June 9

Checks must be made out to Fairmont State College. Must be paid by May 31, 2003

COACH MAC'S D.I.M.E.
BASKETBALL CAMP

  • June 9-12
  • Girls ages 8-18
  • Cost - $65.00 (includes a camp T-shirt)
  • 5:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
All Applicants must be between the ages of 8 and 18 and cannot be high school graduates.

The camp is located on the Fairmont State campus in the Feaster Center.

Campers must provide their own medical insurance.

There will be a $25.00 cancellation fee to account for handling. All cancellations must be in writing prior to May 31.

Any serious camp violations will result in dismissal from camp and no refunds will be given.

Registration is June 9 from 5 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

All Gear-Up students must register by the May 31 deadline in order for Gear-Up to pay for the camp.

  • Boys & Girls - Grades K-3
  • Cost - $50.00 (includes camp T-shirt and a basketball)
  • 9:00 a.m. - Noon
This camp is for boys and girls who will be entering kindergarten and third grades in the fall.

Campers must provide their own medical insurance. The camp will have a trainer present at all times.

The camp is located on the campus of Fairmont State in the Joe Retton Arena.

There will be a $25.00 cancellation fee to  account for handling, time, etc. All cancellations must be in writing not by telephone.

All cancellations must be made before May 31.

  • Cost - $65.00 (includes a camp T-shirt)
The Fairmont State Baseball Camp is for boys and girls, ages 9-18 and are not high school graduates.

The camp will be held at Duvall-Rosier Field on the Fairmont State campus.

The cost is $65.00 and campers need to bring a t-shirt, cleats or tennis shoes, baseball pants (no shorts), glove and a bat.

All Gear-Up students must register by the deadline in order for Gear-Up to pay for the camp.

  • 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Boys ages 8-18
  • Cost - $65.00 Individual
  • teams of 6 or more - $55.00/each
  • teams of 10 or more - $45.00/each
  • (includes lunch and a camp T-shirt)
 The camp is for applicants between the ages of 8 and 18 and are not high school graduates.

The camp is located on the Fairmont State campus. Headquarters for the camp is the Feaster Center.

Registration is June 24, 2003 from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in the Feaster Center lobby.

There is a $25.00 cancellation fee to account for processing.

Each camper must provide their own medical insurance. A trainer will be present at all times during the camp.

Campers need to bring tennis shoes and grass football shoes, socks, shorts, t-shirt towels, athletic supporter and swim suit.
Must be pre-registered by June 15.

The camp is free to Gear-Up students in the 7th, 8th and 9th grades.
