FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- Tryouts for the 2010-11 Spirit Squad are set for Friday, Aug. 27, at 6 p.m. in the Auxiliary Gym in the Feaster Center.

The Spirit Squad represents Fairmont State at pep rallies, school functions, parades, games and other community events. 

Requirements for the squad are: 

1) Prior Cheerleading experience
2) Stunting: Minimum of Liberty, Stretch, Full downs, Basic Baskets (whether a climber or a base)
3) Tumbling: Minimum of a standing back handspring and round-off back handspring (**tucks preferred)
