GLENVILLE, W.Va. -- Kevin Gray scored a game-high 26 points to lead Glenville State past Fairmont State, 80-59, on Thursday night at Jesse R. Lilly Gym.
The win moved Glenville State's record to 4-12 overall and 3-9 in the WVIAC. Fairmont State slipped to 6-11 overall and 4-9 in conference play.
The Falcons were led by 20 points and six rebounds from Steve Custis. Isaac Thornton netted 18 points for FSU.
In addition to Gray's 26, the Pioneers got 16 points and 15 rebounds from Nate Cash. Andy Dollman contributed 13 points for GSC.
Glenville State held Fairmont State to just 30 percent shooting from the field. The Pioneers also out-rebounded the Falcons 55-46.
FSU will be back in action on Saturday to take on Bluefield State in Logan, W.Va.
