Lippert Named Second Team All-Region

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. -- Fairmont State sophomore Haley Lippert was named to the Daktronics All-Atlantic Region second team as selected by the sports information directors from institutions that sponsor volleyball in the Atlantic Region. Lippert was one of six players from the WVIAC selected to either the first or second teams.

Wheeling Jesuit teammates Jenna Pew and Allissa Ware are first team selections, while Keysha Allison (WJU), Emmalee Luther (UC), Casey Gates (WJU), and Lippert were picked for the second team. The Daktronics All-Region and All-America program uses an online nomination and voting process powered by ATHLETICSITE.com. The WVIAC, Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference, and Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association comprise the region.

Lippert led the league in kills (388) and kills per set (3.5), and was ranked 48th nationally in kills per set. She had double-digit kills in all but nine games, including 11 games of 15 kills or more and had a hitting percentage of .230. She was also one of the team's leaders in digs (247) and total blocks (51). Lippert was a first team All-WVIAC pick and selected to the All-WVIAC Tournament team.
