“We look at our camp as an opportunity to affect young people in a positive way. We want every camper to learn to help and respect other people. We spend a lot of time talking about life as well as learning the fundamentals of basketball. We don’t play a lot of five-on-five. What we do is we teach individually and through two-on-two, three-on-three and sometimes four-on-four situations.”
“The concept of having fun when you play the game of basketball along with learning fundamentals, I think, is the cornerstone of enjoying the game of basketball.”
“The game of basketball for women is improving every year, and I think the reason for that is that more and more kids are going to camps and applying the things that they’ve learned during the summer into the school year.”
