CHARLESTON, W. Va. -- Fairmont State fell to Charleston in the first round of the WVIAC Tournament on Friday afternoon in Charleston. FSU ends the year with a 6-6 overall record and 5-5 mark in the conference.
Goldie Preston and Erin McKown fell in the number one double by the score of 8-3. Caitlin Crutchfield and Taylor Nichols fell in the number two 8-5and Brittany Shumate and Kayla Semon fell 8-0 in the number three spot.
Charleston completed the sweep with single victories over Shumate and Kari Simms.
